Overview
Caloritics is built with a privacy-first architecture. The app does not require user accounts and does not collect personal identity information such as name, email, or profile data.
Information We Collect
No Account Data: Caloritics does not require a name, email address, password, or profile account.
Local Health and Tracking Data: Height, weight, age, sex, nutrition goals, meal logs, weight logs, notification settings, and local export/import files are stored on your device and are not synced to Caloritics servers.
AI Food Inputs: Text descriptions and meal images are sent to Caloritics servers and external AI providers only when you use AI estimation. Caloritics does not store raw meal images or long-term personal meal content. We may store non-content request metadata such as request mode, success status, error category, model/token usage, tier, and estimated cost for operations, abuse prevention, and cost monitoring.
Device and Subscription Data: Caloritics stores limited pseudonymous device and subscription verification data as needed for fraud prevention, subscription validation, usage limits, and service security.
Ads and Website Measurement: The mobile app may use Google AdMob and Google consent tools, which may process advertising identifiers according to Google policies. The Caloritics website uses Google Tag Manager for website measurement; this website tracking is separate from the mobile app.
Subscription, Cancellation, and Refund Data
Subscription purchases, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple App Store. Caloritics does not receive or store your full payment method details. We only receive the minimum subscription validation data needed to verify active access. Refund and cancellation outcomes are controlled by the respective store billing policies.
How Data Is Used
- Generate calorie and macronutrient estimates using AI
- Calculate nutrition goals locally on the device
- Validate premium subscription access
- Apply usage limits and protect the service from abuse or fraud
- Monitor AI provider costs and reliability without storing raw meal images
Data Storage
Your goals, meal logs, weight logs, reminder settings, and manual export/import files remain on your device. Caloritics servers store limited pseudonymous operational data needed to run AI processing, authentication, usage limits, subscriptions, fraud prevention, and service security. Raw payment method details are not stored by Caloritics.
Third-Party AI Services
Food descriptions and images are processed by external AI providers. Caloritics does not control how these providers store or process data. Users should review their respective privacy policies.
Data Retention
Local app data can be removed by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app. Server-side operational records are retained only as needed for security, fraud prevention, subscription validation, usage limits, debugging, analytics, legal, or accounting purposes. AI request metadata is configured for limited retention, while active subscription and authentication records may remain while needed to provide the service.
Security
Application requests use HTTPS. Caloritics avoids storing personal meal logs, weight logs, and raw meal images on its servers, and stores only the operational records needed to provide AI processing, subscriptions, limits, and security.
User Control
We strongly believe an app shouldn't need an account for such essential tools. This gives you complete full control of your app data generated locally on-device. All data can be instantly wiped by clearing the app storage or uninstalling.
Children's Privacy
Caloritics is not intended for users under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
International Use
The app is available globally. AI processing may occur in different jurisdictions depending on the specific model provider selected.

This policy may be updated as the product evolves. Continued use implies your full acceptance of changes.
